The Omni Bedford Springs Resort is currently seeking a Night
Auditor. The Night Auditor will reconcile the
business of the day and ensure a smooth, efficient operation of the
front desk during the 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Will be willing to
work weekends and holidays.

Performs the required system saves during the night audit
shift to ensure a current back-up of the hotel files is available.

Posts and audits banquet checks in order of the banquet
summary sheet.

Reconciles all Food and Beverage outlet postings.

Verifies front desk cashier work is balanced.

Performs an accurate bucket check of all in-house
registration cards.

Ensures all guest accounts are accurately posted with room
and tax.

Performs nightly IBM maintained by monitoring the file sizes
and performing weekly and monthly reorgs.

Ensures the completion of all H.I.S. night audit functions.

Distributes all close day reports and morning reports to the
appropriate departments.

Transmits accurate data to Corporate.

Prepares and distributes the Daily Report (Daily Business
Summary DBS).

The Night Auditor is to provide friendly, efficient
registration, guest settlement, and information to all guests, fellow
associates, and visitors.

Check guest in and out, ensuring proper credit is received,
special requests are noted and fulfilled and accurate information is
established.

Thoroughly complete all guest transactions.

Promote and sell special hotel programs.

Interact with resort staff in a professional manner,
assisting other departments with necessary information.

Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Resort
policies.

Maintain house bank.

Communicate all pertinent information to the Front Office
Managers and Supervisors.

Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks,
safe deposits, and refunds.

Solicit guest feedback.

HOTEL SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Cross-training in PBX, Concierge, and Bell-stand coverage.

Know and satisfy our customers' expectations.

Be ambassadors for our hotel and promote it enthusiastically.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or
manager.

Assist in other departments as needed.

Attend monthly department meetings.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or equivalent.

Two years of college education preferred.

Two years experience in a service industry, preferably in the
hospitality industry.

Excellent oral and communication skills.

Computer literate.

Pleasant telephone demeanor.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Office setting with overhead lighting and comfortable
ventilation. Constant guest contact. Occasional exposure to weather
conditions when on exterior of Resort.
