DATE Restaurant offers casual dining Modern American and Contemporary California Cuisine (B, L, D) ROCKS Lounge & Bar, featuring a wide array of specialty drinks and cocktails, appetizers, lunch menu and patio service. Poolside dining service. 15 meeting rooms with nearly 30,000 square feet of meeting space, 12,571 square foot Grand Ballroom, divisible into five sections accommodates up to 1,500 for banquets. 24,000 sq. ft. Courtyard with seating capacity with seating capacity for 2,500.

Job Description:
NIGHT AUDITOR
Department: Accounting
Supervisor: Night Manager/Controller
DUTIES: Accurately and efficiently input and work with accounting systems, computers, etc., to perform food and beverage audit, rooms audit, cashiering and desk clerk duties; effectively communicate with guests about hotel facilities, check ins/outs and emergency procedures.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
1. Appearance: Well groomed and pleasant, conservative hairstyle, conservative jewelry, neat and clean, no perfume/cologne, neatly trimmed beard or mustache, if applicable.
2. Behavior: Friendly, positive, team and service oriented, interested in job learning.
3. Basic Skills: Honest, dependable, loyal, organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, good computer and math skills, good concentration, able to move quickly from night audit area to front desk to greet guests.
4. Communication Skills: Good grammar, able to communicate accurately and effectively in verbal and written form to respond to guest, legible handwriting.
5. Other: Basic desk clerk duties, honest, trustworthy.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1.
Previous Experience: Hotel night audit and front office operations.
2. Special Skills: Handling guest complaints and special requests, capable of operating 10 key calculator by touch and other office equipment.
3. Product Knowledge: Hotel audit procedures, safety/security procedures.
4. Other: Be familiar with basic desk clerk duties, able to complete projects on time.
