Virtual Product Development within Advanced Engineering is responsible to develop and validate analytical techniques. VPD consists of four global departments where dept. Noise, Vibration & Cooling is responsible for analysis in noise, vibration and computational fluid dynamics.

Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
  • Planning, preparing and perform fluid flow and thermal analysis in all phases of vehicle program
  • Validate simulation results with physical testing
  • Apply simulation methodologies in early phases of GDP
  • Functional Project Leader (FPL) representing VPD on New Product Development Projects

Key Skills:
  • Experience in global cooperation is desirable
  • Knowledge of using Star CCM+
  • 3-5 years of experience from the automotive industry

Internal Forum: Noise Vibration and Cooling Team Meeting

Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
  • M.Sc. in mechanical engineering, engineering physics or other relevant field
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer
  • Knowledge of using CFD tools
  • Analytical mind set
  • Familiar with CAD systems
  • Good communication skills

Additional Important Requirements
  • Excellent spoken and written English
