The Pain Management Division at Scott & White Healthcare-Round Rock is seeking a provider for our Round Rock Clinic interested in non-interventional analgesic management of clinic patients.
Scott & White Healthcare-Round Rock is a dynamic multi-specialty group practice with a significant referral base and patient population. The Pain Management Division integrates a multidisciplinary approach to the management of our patients – which includes medications, physical therapy, behavioral therapy and all interventional modalities of treatment.
This opportunity is in an outpatient setting with Monday-Friday business hours. Desired candidates may come from a variety of medical backgrounds (i.e. Primary Care, PM&R, Anesthesiology, Neurology or Psychiatry) - all must have interest, skills and training in meeting the medication management needs of clinic patients.
The Clinic is associated with the 101-bed Scott & White Round Rock Hospital. Opened in 2007, the hospital recently completed a $40 million dollar expansion. It is located twenty minutes north of central Austin. Scott & White is the premiere healthcare provider in Williamson and Travis Counties.
The hospital is a nationally accredited chest pain and stroke center. There are 18 sub specialty services available in addition to emergency services, critical care services, inpatient and outpatient surgery and endoscopy suites.
Scott & White is a fully integrated health system and is the largest multi-specialty practice in Texas, and the sixth largest group practice in the nation. Scott & White employs more than 1100 physicians and research scientists who care for patients covering 29,000 square miles across Central Texas. Scott & White has a 636-bed Level I Trauma acute care facility in Temple, an additional 50-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital in Temple, a 25 bed critical access hospital in Taylor as well as a network of more than 60 primary and specialty clinics throughout the region.
