The North American Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning and executing all North American marketing activities.. He or she will lead a team of marketing experts. Responsibilities include:

Develop and implement the marketing strategy for North America

Develop and execute an external communication strategy in support of IC campaigns.(Communications on matters related to firm strategy, reputation and crisis management will be handled by the Global Chief of Staff)

Hold key relations with relevant media contacts, in particular tier one media, and place Booz material, ideas and news as related to the firm's marketing agenda

Prioritize marketing activities to optimize market impact

Help defend Booz & Company's position as the number one Thought Leader amongst general consulting firms

Oversee the planning and execution of alumni marketing activities in North America

Serve as brand guardian for the Booz & Company brand in North America

Manage external vendor relationships

Liaise with the corporate and regional marketing teams on corporate activities and campaigns

External Communications

Develop the external communications strategy and implementation plans in coordination with the Chief Marketing and Knowledge Officer, Global Director of Marketing, North American management team, and heads of practices

Oversee the dissemination of information to print, broadcast, and online media

Manage all media relationships for North America, including press releases, interviews, opinion editorials, conference appearances, etc.

Serve as focal point for all interaction between Booz & Company and the media in North America and, in coordination with other marketing staff, with major English-language media worldwide; evaluate and assess all media requests, grant interview opportunities, etc.

Design, coordinate and oversee the management of corporate events in support of the marketing agenda

Measure effectiveness of external communications initiatives and produce reports for the Global Director of Marketing and North American management team


Oversee and manage North American alumni resource

Develop the marketing strategy for Booz & Company NA alumni

Lead the development of the alumni newsletter for North America

Plan and oversee all alumni events

Measure effectiveness of campaigns and produce update reports for management

Conferences and Events

Maximize marketing and branding opportunities in conferences and events


Develop the Booz & Company brand in the North American market

Ensure all North American marketing activities are brand compliant

Support global branding initiatives

Institutional and managerial activities

Responsible for people management including nurturing talent, coaching and counseling

Manage media training opportunities for partners and principals

Coordinate with Global Chief of Staff on internal communications and any external communications relating to corporate strategy, reputation and crisis management

Responsible for managing the North American marketing budget


Proven track record in marketing and public relations field with strong relationships to North American journalists, in particular in tier one media

Experience in developing and implementing marketing and external communications strategies, ideally in the professional services industry

Master's in Business Administration, or Marketing

Several years of professional experience, with at least some years in Marketing management position within a leading organization, ideally in the professional Services industry

Experience in leading teams and external vendor relationships
