We invite you to come join our float team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This career opportunity has a flexible schedule and is open to applicants that are interested in either full-time or part-time employment. It's a great learning opportunity for an experienced nuclear medicine technologist that enjoys working within a variety of different environments, centers, teams, and with different equipment. As a member of of our nuclear medicine float team you'll:
  • Perform high quality nuclear medicine exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure proper doses and radionuclides are ordered for each day.
  • Assay dose so that the radionuclide is correct and matches procedure.
  • Administer radionuclide in a safe and effective manner.
  • Monitor patient's well being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patient procedures.
  • Travel to our Southern California centers (i.e. Los Angeles County, Victorville, Ventura County, etc) to help with coverage and/or receive training.
  • Participate in projects and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

    We're looking for experienced and professional candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient nuclear medicine exams and procedures. ARRT(N) certification (or NMTCB certification), CA State Licensure in nuclear medicine (ALL SCOPES DEFINED IN SECTION 30533, PLUS VENIPUNCTURE), CPR certification, at least 2+ years of nuclear medicine work experience, and great communication skills are also a must! Applicants must also have reliable transportation and a valid/unrestricted CA State Driver's License.

    PET/CT experience is a plus!
