BCLS Required prior to hire
Under the supervision of the licensed nurse, the CNA facilitates the provision of applicable patient care by performing specific patient care tasks and support functions as delegated.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certification : Completion of a certified nurse assistant program. (75 hours and/or competency testing).
Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to provide safe and effective basic patient care.
Currently certified in B.C.L.S. in accordance with the American Heart Association.
Annual completion of 12 hours of in servicing/staff development or nursing education is required for those working in long-term care.
