Job Summary
Hourly, commissioned when applicable, non-exempt, non-supervisory position.
Primarily responsible for guest nutritional education via private consultations, group presentations and informal talks with guests.
Supervised by the Nutrition Department Director.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties
Provides individual consultations and for guests.
Provides workshops and lectures for guests.
Develops nutrition materials for guest education and publication in cooperation with Public Relations.
Participates in service development under direction of the Director
Additional Duties
Attends and participates in meetings and committees as designated by administration.
Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
Performs other job-related duties as directed.
Adheres to Canyon Ranch standards for guest service.
Refers guest problems or complaints to supervisor according to Canyon Ranch guest problem resolution policy.
Qualifications
Must be a Registered Dietitian or R.D. eligible in the State of Arizona.
Master's degree in nutrition or related subject preferred.
Must have a cheerful, positive attitude and be guest service oriented.
Must be able to learn and implement the Canyon Ranch nutrition philosophy.
Must be able to work effectively with a variety of people.
Must be able to remain calm and in control during stressful situations.
Public speaking skills.
