The Videographer position for the Department of Surgery in the Division of OBGYN will be responsible for the pre-production, production, and post-production of all multi-media content for the COACH OBGYN website. This position requires an independent work ethic, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage a team of up to 3 pre-med editors / tapers that will assist with production in the OR recording surgeries according to hospital and HIPPA regulations. In addition to facilitating the documentation of surgical procedures, this position's primary responsibilities will include: The video editing of commonly performed procedures for addition to the COACH educational database. Further post-production tasks including but not limited to motion graphic animation, the manufacture of custom 2D and 3D graphics, audio sweetening, copy-editing, photo editing and page layout design. Managing sensitive data, both hard copies and digitally within FileMaker Pro. Data entry processing of text and multimedia content through the custom web-based COACH interface. Organizing communications between internal and external contacts including hospital surgeons, the public affairs department and outside vendors. Additional Job Responsibilities: Production and execution of Continuing Medical Education conference documentation. Development of presentation materials for industry outreach and affiliate hospital education materials for a variety of attending surgeons. Review and reporting on website optimization and site traffic. Annual recruitment, training, and retention of pre-med volunteers. Management of 3D workflow, script research and writing in affiliation with expert medical specialists. Ensuring overall quality control for original content creation. Other responsibilities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.

Prior videography, video editing and motion graphics experience. Current expertise in Microsoft Office: Power Point, Excel and Word. Current expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc. Writing and editing skills including comprehension of medical terminology. Experience in project management, in particular balancing simultaneous priorities and projects, working on short deadlines, and managing tight budgets. Knowledge of website development, including creating sitemaps, understanding of site architecture and navigation, management of updates and approvals. Strong interpersonal skills, diligent work ethic and a proven track record of independent success.
Commercial production experience with 3D Studio Max and After Effects. Web design experience with CSS, InDesign, or Dreamweaver. Masters degree. Teaching experience
