To perform a variety of clerical assignments which may be unique or technical in nature, depending on local business needs. Assignments include handling of confidential materials/data where discretion is required. Primary functions include receptionist, filing, complex PC work (involving, spread sheets), heavy word processing, data input, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable.
O Performs facility receptionist duties, providing information to customers, applicants, employees and others as required. Receives and forwards calls to appropriate facility staff.
O Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, invoices, statements.
O Inputs data into the facility's computer system for all operating units, including payroll data, serving as central expediter of information and payroll data collector.
O Performs a variety of routine clerical functions including typing, processing of correspondence, etc., as well as any other assignments required by the facility's management
O Assists in the preparation and coordination of various reports on business activities, etc., required for the effective operation of the local business.
O Utilizes telephone and written correspondence for routine communication with other employees and/or customers.
O Assists in the receipt and transfer of inventory insuring proper input of data into the systems.
O Responsible for file maintenance, ensuring accurately and timely processing of all documents.
O Performs a variety of functions necessary for the successful operation/ facility, as assigned by the management of the company.
Job Requirements/ Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Associates Degree or four year's equivalent experience (high school degree) in a related business, with courses in business practices, business math, and office machine practices.
Ability to follow directions working from verbal instructions, working independently with minimal supervision.
Must possess a high degree of initiative, with the ability to be promptly and regularly at work.
Proficient in MS Office products
Ability to work fluctuating work schedules and extensive work hours required by work loads.
