This position is located in the Utilities Branch, Public Works Division, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC. This is a non-sensitive position for security clearance purposes. KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Enters and updates into the automated system using computer terminal.
- Inputs service tickets generated by Maintenance Discrepancy reports (MDRs) and maintains logs on ticket status.
- Prepares bi-weekly timecards and labor distribution cards, and overtime reports.
- Researches parts catalogs, calls vendors for availability and price of items.
- Keeps calendar of office appointments and notifies affected personnel. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Applicants must have 6 months of general experience of progressively responsible clerical, office or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE : Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: 1 year above high school. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business or technical school, junior college, college or university for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be combined to meet the total qualification requirements.
