This is a BCI position assigned to 150 E. Gay Street, Columbus, Ohio.
The Office of the Ohio Attorney General is seeking a OHLEG Special Projects Coordinator. The duties will include but not limited to the following:
Responsible for the day to day coordination of various Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway (OHLEG) project tasks as assigned by the Director.
Serves as the coordinator & primary contact person for the Attorney General's Office (AGO) on matters related to the OHLEG School Emergency Plan database; receives, processes & enters school emergency plans & floor plans into the database; creates correspondence for distribution to schools & handles phone & email inquiries related to school plan creation & submission.
Collects, reviews & disseminates reports to law enforcement related to statistics concerning mental incompetency, domestic violence, & human trafficking statistics in the State of Ohio
Attends & schedules meetings related to OHLEG program activities. Represents the AGO at events related to assigned projects; answer phone calls, emails & constituent inquiries on behalf of the AGO; performs a variety of clerical, administrative & project support tasks as assigned by the OHLEG Director.
Completion of Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Communications or Public Policy; 2 years experience or training in the operation of computers; 2 years experience in MicroSoft Word Software.
Serves at the pleasure of the Attorney General per O.R.C. 124.14(B)(2).

Employees of the Attorney General's Office must have been in their current positions for at least 12 months in order to be eligible for consideration.
