Viper Technology Services is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business with a 10-year history of performance building global information systems for U.S. Joint DOD and U.K. MOD logistics programs.

Currently Viper has an immediate opening for an Offboard Mission Support (OMS) System Administrator for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Autonomics Logistics Information System (ALIS) at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma in AZ. Relocation assistance is unavailable. Work requirements include a Department of Defense Secret security clearance . This position will support a cutting edge supply chain and aircraft maintenance system for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program and will have a significant impact on the success of this new system .

Overall responsibilities:
  • Provide, manage and support the ALIS OMS environment:
    • Maintain/install MPSE updates
    • Support pilots in Mission Planning/Debriefing Process
    • Support Portable Memory Device (PMD) data transfer and maintenance
    • Administer GDR
  • Perform data management of mission planning and mission recorded data
  • Maintain and store GDR, OMS, and OMS gateway security logs and audit data
  • Install and configure MPSE on the appropriate ALIS units at the site
  • Assist in managing GOTS for ALIS
  • Monitor OMS Work Station (WS) and GDR
  • Support cost planning and estimating efforts
  • Identify resource requirements
  • Identify risk and development mitigation plans
  • Support ALIS software release activities
  • Support ALIS implementation activities at site (e.g. standup of SOU at a site)
  • Set up user accounts with different levels of software data access
  • Maintain mission planning data databases
  • Administer LOHAS Ground Data Security Assembly (DSA) Receptacle (GDR)
  • Additional activities associated with ALIS equipment will be performed in accordance with processes and procedures found in the ALIS TFM

Key management responsibilities:
  • Perform cryptographic key loading tasks for the GDR and the OMS WS
  • Perform cryptographic key processing as required to support the GDR
  • Audit cryptographic keys by reviewing audit logs on GDR and OMS WS

  • Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance (prefer Top Secret)
  • Experience with Windows XP, MS office 2007 Pro and Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS)
  • Knowledge of
    • JMPS Installation and Configuration Procedure
    • Mission Planning Support Environment (MPSE) Installation and Configuration Procedure
    • Military Operations & Planning Processes (e.g. Mission planning, post flight debriefing, etc.)
  • Working after hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work under pressure and to respond quickly
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Excellent documentation skills

This work directly supports lifecycle system management and sustainment for live flight operations of more than a dozen F-35 Lightning II aircraft representing variants for the United States Air Force, United States Marine Corps and, eventually, expected variants for the United States Navy and nine International Ministry of Defense partner nations.
