Description Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external Customers.

Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our Company.

Assists in the Organization and development of original research and analysis, and effectively communicates findings to Team Leader Distills complex, detailed data and issues down to easily understood, presentable, and actionable findings and suggests creative solutions.

Analyzes and interprets web site activity to support the Online Marketing team. Responsible for business-to-consumer and business-to-business analysis, monitoring competitive travel and airline sites, and reporting on Customer usage trends.

Evaluates and reports on new product performance, sales, and other offers.

Researches, creates and distributes select marketing reports on a regular (daily, weekly, monthly) schedule and on an ad hoc basis.

Assists with development and execution of marketing plans for southwest.com in order to meet booking/revenue goals for all products (Air, Car, Hotel, Click 'n Save, etc). Develops forecasts of online bookings and revenue.

Assists in efforts to build a fact base and assemble business cases for strategic recommendations.

Provides analysis and support for measuring and building SEM and SEO programs.

Sets up A/B and multi-variate testing and makes actionable recommendations based on results. Assists Advertising department with the deployment and evaluation of online advertising and promotional efforts.

Supports internal Customers with basic online analytics training and support. Creates dashboards as needed.

Minimum Requirements Education:

Bachelors degree required.

Experience:

Must possess strong PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Access,
PowerPoint, and Word.

1-3 years experience in business analytics preferred.

Experience with spreadsheets, databases, SQL, and database reporting tools is preferred.

Experience with online analytics package such as Omniture or Google Analytics preferred.

Familiarity with the airline/travel industry is preferred.

Basic understanding of Javascript and HTML desired.

Must have experience with SQL and databases.

Must possess strong PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.

Must be comfortable with handling confidential information and presenting/communicating directly to senior management.

Must be able to prioritize and organize multiple workstreams.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
