As Kindle Operations Program Manager, you will support Kindle Forward Logistics Operations team to ensure we deliver a world class, end-to-end customer experience.
You will be responsible for day-to-day Kindle US operations acting as key point of contact with the Amazon US Fulfillment centers, Transportation team, Instock planning teams and Retail Kindle team. You will manage inbound transportation tracking/management, manage and measure Customer fulfillment Operations, drive process improvements within Kindle operations and help support and execute project launches. You will also support and drive reporting automation of key metrics for Forward Logistics
This role requires creative problem solving, critical thinking, responsiveness, flexibility and the ability to succeed within an open collaborative environment. Additional requirements include:
Support daily operations as a point of escalation for inbound/FC queries
Manage/track day to day movement of Kindle products throughout the supply chain
Drive reporting/ tool automation for Fwd Logistics
Ensure up to date and accurate statistics, management reports and analysis are available and maintained
Drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline and drive efficiency in processes and reporting
Build relationships with key internal customers (Trans team, Instock teams, Retail Kindle team, FC teams)
Drive and support cost saving initiatives and opportunities within Kindle supply chain
Manage multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines
Bachelor Degree required
3+ years’ experience providing operational support
3+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and Transportation Logistics management
Advanced Excel experience required; with experience in Data Warehouse and SQL/database set up
Experience in preparation, analysis and presentation of key performance data
Prior hardware device experience a plus
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma concepts and applications a plus
Proven track record of consistently meeting goals and objectives
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to think on your feet
Ideas-driven and creative in finding solutions/ designing improved methods, systems and processes
