The college has a variety of career opportunities available in the following departments: administrative services, information technology, financial aid, bookstore, testing center and student services. Employees will receive training for positions.
Many will serve as information desk clerks, phone associates, as well as help students navigate the Edison State College website at kiosks around campus.
Temporary positions may become available on a short term, temporary basis. The nature of the work varies according to the department. These assignments can vary from as short as several hours to assignments lasting several months. It is not a guarantee when you join the temporary/casual pool that you will find a full-time position here at Edison State College.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High school graduate (or GED). Candidate should have basic computer skills including keyboard operation and internet navigation. The ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English. A strong enthusiasm for Edison State College.
Preferred Qualifications: The completion of some college coursework, previous customer service experience and working in higher education. Bilingual.
