Responsible for delivering direct care to patients, utilizing physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician.
Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy required. Lincensure and registration in the State of New York required. Must know and utilize theory of physical medicine. Experience in acute care. Must be familiar with hospital policy, functions and procedures.
BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only 2 organizations:
1. American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program
2. American Red Cross - CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
No online programs from any organization will be accepted.
