GENERAL SUMMARY The Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating the developmental and functional status of pediatric and select adult patients, administering treatment, fabricating or recommending adaptive equipment and splints; documenting evaluation results and patient progress; and providing patient and family education. Demonstrates competence defined (*) in Staff Occupational Therapist responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care and services to patients from the age of birth to 21 years, and selected adult patients. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. Certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association; registered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy; licensed by the State of Ohio .

One year occupational therapy work experience in a pediatric setting preferred or clinical affiliation in area of pediatrics. MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Standing/Walking Constantly (67-100%) Independently Lifting/Carrying up to 15 pounds Frequently Independently Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds Occasionally (0-33%) Finger Dexterity Constantly (67-100%) Kneeling Frequently Bending/Stooping Frequently Reaching Frequently Talking/Hearing/Seeing Constantly (67-100%) Pushing/Pulling Frequently
