is seeking a part time or full time Licensed Occupational Therapist. This is a new start up for us in Southern Illinois. An ideal candidate has
upper extremity experience (including splinting and splint fabrication) and comfortable as the solo OT on site. You do not need to be a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to be considered, but it is HIGHLY preferred. We have a CHT certification program if you are close to the required hours to sit for the exam. This is a Physician owned PT practice under NovaCare Rehabilitation working in the same office as the surgeon. We can consider a Physical Therapist (PT) who is a CHT.

Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications to patients and customers. Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care. Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy. National and state licensure or registration REQUIRED to start. Experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic required. Hand and splinting experience preferred. Valid driver’s license.
