High School Diploma or equivalency required.
Ability to communicate and interact appropriately with patients, families, and staff with respect to age, disability, and cultural preferences.
Able to accurately and efficiently express or exchange ideas/information by means of written and spoken word.
All CHOP employees who work in a patient building or who provide patient care are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.

Under general supervision by the Therapy Supervisors, coordinates scheduling of therapy aides and coordination needs for transport of patients, maintains a clean and orderly working environment, manages inventory of supplies and orders supplies using Lawson, performs errands and clerical duties as assigned. Directly supervises all volunteers into the department, with indirect support from department leadership. Under close supervision from a licensed therapist, assists in patient treatment; such as assistance may include preparation of the patient and patient areas for treatment, assisting in transfer/positioning of patient, participating in group treatment sessions led by a therapist, helping patients to practice routine therapy activities following demonstration by a therapist, and fabricating adaptive equipment/assistive devices designed by a therapist. Under indirect supervision from a licensed therapist maintains developmental testing, scores developmental tests, supervises scheduling and coordination of transport needs with other aides in department. Participates in Child Life run groups to support carryover of therapeutic goals in recreational and ADL activities.
