Education or Training Required:
Nurse’s aide or LPN necessary. First Aid/CPR certified or ability to gain certification.
Graduate of accredited professional nursing program with correct active license to
practice nursing in Oklahoma
Experience Required (Length & Type)
Knowledge of OSHA, Worker's Compensation and Industrial Medicine preferred.
Must currently possess or have ability to gain Authorized Training:
Blood borne Pathogens
First Aid / CPR
HAZCOM - MSDS
Worker's Compensation practices and laws
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before immediate supervisor or employees of organization.
Summary of Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Provide medical care and assessment to Seaboard employees as well as assist in the
functions of the medical department for that shift (i.e. - medical leaves, ergonomic issues,
wellness activities, etc.). The nursing staff also supports the nurse manager in handling
legal record keeping. Must be aware of trends/issues that need to be taken to appropriate
Human Resource Representative, Safety Manager, and/or production management.
