We are looking for the right Facility Manager to help lead us through our next stage of growth as we become a formidable industry leader. The Facility Manager must have strong strategic and analytical skills, budgeting and vendor relations knowledge, as well as prior office and/or facility management experience. The Office/Facility Manager will maintain a clean, efficient, secure, and inspiring work environment at our two large office and warehouse facilities, over 80,000 ft2 total, here in North Austin as well as one small manufacturing facility in Kansas. Budget management and forecasting for all properties needs

Strategically plan and negotiate vendor relationships for services at all properties

Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory

Maintaining the condition of all properties and arranging for necessary repairs

Supervising, planning, documenting and implementing essential central services such as reception, travel, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, electrical, plumbing, waste disposal and recycling

Help to drive the ongoing creation of an inspiring, creative, and productive environment for work

Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.

With team, account for 24 hour point of contact for any emergencies as BuildASign.com operates 24/7.

Create and present quarterly power point and written reports to management on performance against past quarter goals, current spend, strategic planning, and future goals.

Hiring and management of all of Office/Facilities department team members

Participate in the development of company policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies and facilities

Attend conferences, training and networking events to maintain and grow professional knowledge

Maintain a clean, safe and secure working environment

Degree strongly preferred

College coursework or equivalent, in a related area preferred

3-5 years Facility/Office Management Experience in related field desired

Experience managing a warehouse and/or light industrial environment

Experience managing over 80,000 square feet of property

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion

A polished and professional demeanor

Vendor management skills (fearless on the phone and at complete ease asking for deliverables, refunds, credits, etc. in a calm and professional manner)
