In this Office Administrator position, you will be the public face of LRS in our Overland Park, KS office. You will greet visitors and answer phone calls, in addition to handling a range of office management responsibilities. Your work will primarily support LRS Consulting Services, the staff augmentation division of LRS.

Responsibilities will include scanning and filing documents such as contracts and correspondence using such software programs as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Much of your day will be spent performing data entry work in our mainframe and Siebel CRM system. Your remaining time will be spent on other duties including ordering supplies, invoicing, reviewing commission accuracy, liaising with building personnel, helping with special company projects and helping to assemble bid responses for customers.

You will also be responsible for sorting/distributing mail, shipping and receiving packages, communicating with shipping vendors, and completing copying/collating projects for various groups. These tasks can include lifting items that weigh up to 50 pounds, for example a box of copy paper.

Your compensation will consist of a hourly rate. You will be based in the Overland Park, KS, office.

Performance objectives for this position:
  • During your first two weeks, master the phone operations and be able to correctly route phone calls to the appropriate personnel; You will also greet visitors and direct them appropriately.
  • Accurately file and scan various documents so they can be retrieved quickly when requested
  • Work collaboratively with members of the group when asked to assist with projects
  • During your first month, learn the necessary software programs and accurately perform data entry operations, including becoming familiar with the mainframe and Siebel CRM system and formatting of resumes in the LRS style
Requirements:Applicant Requirements:
A candidate must have a minimum of 5 years recent (within past 7 years) experience in an office environment with the following:
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with at least 2 years in MS Office 2007. (Experience using MS Office 2010 will make you a stronger candidate.)
  • Experience answering multi-line phone systems
  • Assisted management with day-to-day administrative operational issues
You must be able to provide two examples (from an office environment) of detail-oriented projects where you have had to prioritize and multi-task.

Experience with customer invoicing will make you a stronger candidate. Also, we will give preference to candidates with experience with Siebel CRM tools, resume reformatting, knowledge of online employment and degree verification systems, employee orientations and working knowledge of SharePoint Portal.

Excellent communication and phone skills are expected.

You must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer. No visa sponsorships are available.

Success Keys:
The key to success in this position is your ability to effectively multi-task all the office administrator’s duties, including answering incoming telephone calls and providing efficient, friendly, customer service to visitors, customers, and employees. Your success will be measured by your accuracy in performing your tasks including electronic filing and data entry duties. You will also need to be flexible and have an aptitude for handling ad-hoc requests for assistance.

Organization Structure and Interfaces:
The LRS Consulting Services Group is managed by a director and each office is managed by a branch manager. You will interface daily with account executives, recruiters, consultants and team members from other LRS Consulting Services branches.

You will report to the Overland Park Branch Manager.
