Office Administrator - Teavana Distribution Center

Teavana is seeking an Office Administrator to support our Distribution Center Team in Stratford, CT. The position is responsible for a variety of receptionist and administrative duties that are important to the success of daily office operations! Ideal candidates must have the ability to proactively identify and address needs, be a able to multi-task, and be a team player.
Daily activities for the Office Administrator include some of the following things :
Reception and greeting of visitors.
Process incoming/outgoing mail.
Maintain and order office supplies.
Assist in the processing of invoices.
Assist in upkeep/maintenance of office, kitchen and related equipment.
Serve as Events Coordinator.
Support the Management Team with special projects.
Support team members through Access Card Activations administration, help with time cards, and handling of Human Resources inquiries.
Assisting with other general office management tasks as needed.
Core requirements and skills needed :
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized and with attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple projects at a time.
Must demonstrate excellent decision-making and problem solving skills.
Strong computer skills with advanced working knowledge of MS Office.
Able to work in an environment of discretion, confidentiality
Be self motivated, have good analytical skills and be a responsive and flexible team player.
