***Anticipated Vacancy*** Answer telephone and transfer calls; radio communications; maintain department's inventory for items stocked; process documents; operate computer terminal for data entry; type correspondence and reports such as accident, worker's compensation, and safety reports. This position requires good math skills, record keeping and other duties as designated by the County Maintenance Engineer.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies:
Ability to operate personal computer; ability to process and maintain records in regard to processing invoices; compiling information; ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to type accurately; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with support staff and the general public. This position requires good telephone techniques, ability to express oneself clearly and concisely. Must be able to stoop and bend for filling purposes. Ability to operate calculator, typewriter, copier, and fax machine. SAP experience preferred.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Graduation from high school and demonstrated possession of knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through at least two years of office assistant/secretarial experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
