E = Essential Functions

Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English and Spanish. E
Plan, prioritize, organize, coordinate and direct the day-to-day operations and assigned functions in FSC in the areas of communication, technology, workflow and record management. E
Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare and maintain a variety of complex confidential and non confidential statistical reports, records, and files for accurate and comprehensive data necessary for effective decision-making by the Assistant Director and Executive Leadership Team. E
Compose reports, procedures and correspondence covering a wide variety of matters; write and design presentations and other documents in English and Spanish. E
Provide assistance for students and families who are experiencing difficulty in and out of the classroom by developing life and academic tools that will help them become successful at school and make attending college a reality for their future. E
Plan, organize, and supervise programs and activities including but not limited to social activities, Encore after school program, Honor Roll Ceremony, Commitment Day, Open House and Graduation. E
Assist with the planning, organizing and implementation of professional development for all staff. E
Act as an office receptionist; manage a calendar, schedule appointments, meetings, and events while maintaining an efficient and highly organized office. E
Proofread and verify accuracy and completeness of documents and reports. E
Explain policies and procedures to students, staff, parents and the community. E
Operate a variety of office equipment including an iPad, laptop, fax machine, and copier; technology savvy. E
Supervise students before and after school, during transitions to each period and during lunch as outlined by supervisor. E
Other duties as assigned. E Must attach the following documents in order to be considered for this position:

Required upon hire: live scan, current negative TB Test and CPR/First Aid certification

Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from a recognized four-year college or university and two years of recent, related experience.

Indoor office

Physical requirements:
Hearing and speaking to exchange information; seeing to perform assigned duties, walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment; kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, bend at the waist, reach overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally to retrieve and store supplies; must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

The Family Support Center is composed of Counseling and Guidance, Enrollment, Attendance, Family Services, Health and Wellness, Encore After School Program and community based organizations to provide additional supports. The purpose of this group is to make sure all services are reaching the students and families that need them directly and effectively.
