Support the Assistant Director of Academics by performing independent and highly responsible administrative and staff duties in activities which support GPA’s educational goals, programs and objectives. E
Plan, prioritize, organize, coordinate and direct the day-to-day operations and assigned functions in the Office of the Assistant Director in the areas of communication, technology, workflow and record management. E
Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare and maintain a variety of complex confidential and non confidential statistical reports, records, and files for accurate and comprehensive data necessary for effective decision-making by the Assistant Director and Executive Leadership Team. E
Compose reports, procedures and correspondence covering a wide variety of matters; write and design presentations and other documents. E
Provide support to the instructional program, including development of curricular experiments, pilot programs, and innovative instruction. E
Support the Assistant Director in evaluating certificated and classified staff including orientation and training necessary to prepare the staff for evaluations. E
Assist with the development of the master schedule of the school including room assignments, teacher assignments, data processing, coding and school organization. E
Plan, organize, and supervise creative and artistic programs of extracurricular activities including but not limited to social activities, Glee, ASB, assemblies, and contests. E
Assist with the planning, organizing and implementation of professional development for all staff. E
Act as an office receptionist; manage a calendar, schedule appointments, meetings, and events while maintaining an efficient and highly organized office. E
Operate a variety of office equipment including an iPad, laptop, fax machine, and copier; technology savvy. E
Other duties as assigned. E

Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from a recognized four-year college or university with a degree in business or public administration and two years of recent, related experience.
Completed live scan upon hire and current negative TB Test and CPR/First Aid certification
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
