We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an FGP Office Assistant. To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent plus knowledge of general /standard clerical office practices, ability to use standard office equipment including a copy machine, multi-line telephone and fax machine and basic computer skills using Microsoft applications. The successful candidate will be responsible filing and maintaining records and logs of office filing and storage system to ensure retrieval of material from files; performing data entry; typing; faxing; preparing routine forms and reviewing forms for accuracy and completeness; photocopying and assembling materials; receiving, sorting and performing simple screening of mail and sending out dated materials and other documentation; providing back up support for reception area; referring non-routine calls, issues and questions not covered by specific instructions to supervisor; providing routine information, greeting visitors, answering inquiries and giving standard answers to the inquiry by phone or in person; preparing simple memoranda, letters, labels, routine manuscripts, correspondence and other documents.; plus all related job duties as assigned. Excellent communication skills are essential.
One year of work experience, preferably in an office or related setting or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
