The Office Assistant represents the practice in a courteous and efficient manner by answering and making necessary telephone calls, taking accurate messages, scheduling appointments and receiving patients. The Office Assistant is often the first person to communicate with the patient and must reflect the professionalism and caring nature of the practice in all interactions with the patient. Minimum H.S. diploma or equivalent. Medical office experience preferred. Qualified applicants will be multi-task oriented, professional, with a calm, caring, courteous manner. Computer (Microsoft Word) and/or health insurances knowledge would be beneficial.
