Works under the direct supervision of the office manager.
Primary responsibility is greeting and checking in patients while answering the phone lines and assisting patients.
Also responsible for taking appropriate phone messages, scheduling appointments, printing encounter forms, providing information to and for the patients, maintenance and upkeep of the reception area, distributing mail and assisting other employees as needed.
High school diploma with emphasis on clerical courses or equivalent preferred.
Experience in a doctor's office preferably, some knowledge of coding and insurance helpful.
