Department Marketing Statement
The Community Outreach Department provides services to families to address unique needs of those involved in the child welfare system. The Family Preservation Program provides intensive home and community based services to families referred through Marion County Office of Family and Child Juvenile Court. We provide teaching and support in the areas of child development, nutrition, housekeeping, cooking, appropriate discipline, recreation, parenting classes, and support in accessing other programs which may benefit the family. We provide these services to all families, including, but not limited to those experiencing developmental delays.
Basic Qualification: High school degree or GED and six months of Office Assistant experience. Will be working day hours. This position will be doing data entering and scheduling.
