The Office Clinical Assistant (OCA) functions as an critical member of the medical office team working toward the goals of the practice with a focus on providing optimum service to all patients.

The OCA is responsible for rooming patients and obtaining vital signs, performing triage, adminstering injections, phlebotomy and providing assistance to the physician or nurse practitioner as needed. The OCA is also responsible for administering clinical competencies to other staff and performing quality related duties.

Experience in a physician's office setting is strongly preferred. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a current Maine LPN or RN license is required. Experience with phlebotomy and giving injections preferred as well as proficieny using Electronic Medical Records is strongly desired.
