THE POSITION: This position has a key role in the effective functioning of the Human Resources Department. Serving as the first point of contact for those seeking information from the department, position will greet visitors, answer calls and emails, and route all accordingly. This position is responsible for independently providing overall office coordination and functioning of the HR Department, including mail, facilities, equipment, and space. In addition, this position will provide support to the ASO by processing invoices in an SAP environment and providing other operational support as needed. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have an extensive background providing customer service and administrative coordination in a front-desk setting and will be familiar with community and County resources. He or she will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and be comfortable working with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization and from all walks of life while exhibiting sensitivity and respect. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision and will demonstrate resourcefulness, flexibility, and sound judgment in finding solutions to the challenges of running a busy office with limited staff and resources. He or she will be dependable and have a demonstrated record of reliability, punctuality, and excellent attendance. He or she will have experience in processing and troubleshooting invoices and related documents, preferably in an SAP environment, and will have experience in handling confidential and sensitive information.

Minimum Qualifications Typically, the equivalent of three years of increasingly responsible clerical experience that demonstrates the knowledge and skills listed in the class specification . Formal administrative office support and/or secretarial courses or training may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience.
