The Cardiac Services Coordinator performs and provides administrative and secretarial support services. Responsible for maintenance of files and daily operations which includes entering data, processing reports, and updating files. This includes maintenance of master files, daily operations and auditing of reporting mechanisms of the acuity/staffing systems for Nursing Services. Ability to extract pertinent information from medical records as required. Works with managers to identify staffing needs, determine appropriate levels and follows through with arranging appropriate coverage. Responsible for maintaining NYS Dept. of Health and ACC databases, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in submitting this information to the New York State Department of Health. Works closely with Interventional Cardiologists, procedural nurses, and technologists to ensure accuracy of all data provided to the NYSDOH and Olean General Hospital.

Associate degree in computer science or related field. Minimum of two (2) years previous computer experience and two (2) years previous physician office experience. Knowledge of patient care delivery is preferred. Verbal and written communication skills. Comprehensive knowledge of office practices and procedures.
