DESCRIPTION

ServiceMASTER, a leader in the disaster restoration services, is seeking an Office Coordinator for the Columbus, Georgia location. The ideal candidate must be well organized and have a professional, positive attitude. This position will be responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

DUTIES

  • Assists managers in all aspects of administrative functions
  • Ensure that each vehicle is equipped with tag, registration and insurance card
  • Maintain employee issuance and maintenance of all company vehicles
  • Order inventory for chemical and office supplies
  • Order specific job supplies per management request
  • Verify receipt of supply orders
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date
  • Directly responsible for customer retention
  • Records initial loss in Chronicle and relays new job to appropriate project manager
  • Dispatches incoming calls to managers
  • Assists in calling customers to confirm scheduled appointments
  • Maintains customer database by entering detailed and accurate information into Chronicle
  • Provides answers/solutions to customer inquiries and problems
  • Greet and assist customers/visitors in front office
  • Responsible for all aspects of answering multi line phones
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to learn and utilize our proprietary software; Chronicle and others as necessary
  • Great customer service skills
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and have a clean background
  • Must have a positive attitude, be a team player and be willing to learn
  • Maintain a professional attitude with all staff members, customers, and vendors
  • Must be able to perform work in a timely manner and meet deadlines
  • Maintain a dependable attendance record
  • Must have good grammar, voice and diction
  • Must be proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office software
  • Must have working knowledge of basic office equipment
