The Great West Division of the American Cancer Society, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Office Manager at our Durango, Colorado office. The Office Manager is responsible for providing exceptional administrative and operational support to staff and various programs and activities. More specific responsibilities are as follows:
*Provides administrative and operational support to staff in the Durango office.
*Supports Income Development Team, Women’s Wellness Connection staff, and Quality of Life
programs and services.
*Serves as first point of contact to Facilities Management Office.
*Opens and closes office; ensures effective and efficient office operations.
*Works Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (no flexibility with work schedule).
*Assists with various Income Development, Quality of Life, and Women’s Wellness Connection
projects and programs; Women’s Wellness Connection in the Durango and surrounding areas, such as: Farmington and San Juan, NM.
*Coordination of office supplies and materials ordering for staff via Society Mart system.
*Recruit, train, direct, and oversee office volunteers.
*Ensures phones are covered and constituents and donors are greeted.
*High School Diploma, plus 5 years of successful experience in the administrative field.
*Nonprofit experience, including volunteer recruitment is highly desired.
*Strong customer service skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Must meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks and work well with limited supervision.
*Self-starter and pro-active.
*Mature and dependable.
*Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to navigate the internet and learn
new systems quickly.
*Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
