General Description: Independent specialty medical office located on the NH Seacoast is looking for an experienced Office Manager. Candidates must be detail oriented and have exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
Under the direction of the facility administrator, the Office Manager is a resource to all staff for daily office operations and is directly responsible for the non-clinical aspects of day-to-day operations including:
-Promoting excellent customer service
-Providing leadership to the office
-Maintaining provider schedules
-Implementing and maintaining office policies and procedures
-Hiring and training front office staff
-Monitoring and evaluating non-clinical staff performance
-Payroll and accounts payable/receivable
-Ensuring compliance with current healthcare regulations and medical laws
-Handling patient and staff inquiries
-Maintaining clinical and financial reports
-Maintaining patient confidentiality
Education: Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in a related field strongly preferred.
Experience: Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, the ability to organize and communicate clearly and be extremely well organized. Candidates should also have knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel, QuickBooks, and a familiarity with EMR) required.
A minimum of 5 to 10 years in a managerial position is required (medical office preferred).
Salary: This is a full time position (40 hours a week). Salary amounts vary based on years of experience and education.
