HS Diploma or GED required. Certified coder preferred. 2-5 yrs experience in an outpatient clinic, physican office or healthcare setting required. At least 1yr experience in medical coding & billing. Experience with Medical Terminology & Medical Insurance payers. Close attention to detail. Critical thinking skills, advanced office and computer skills, filing, telephone answering, and reception experience.
