The Office Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and management of physician services to approximately one or more practice sites and/or one or more physicians. Under general supervision of a Practice Director or Manager, this individual directs, coordinates, and integrates practice resources and activities to meet the goals of the service line. This individual understands both the long-range goals and the short-term WakeMed Physician Practices and remains focused on achieving objectives and standards. Works in partnership with the physician leader(s) to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (JCAHO, NCBON, CMS, DHHS), enhance operations and ensures physician participation and integration into the operations of the practice. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices.
Experience Requirements :
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an ambulatory care/medical office setting required. Supervisory experience in a healthcare related field also desirable.

High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in business administration, healthcare services, or a related field is preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements :
