Our client located in Washington, DC has an opening for an Office Assistant. The Office Assistant will support our client’s International Development Group. This is a short term position for approximately 3-4 weeks. Candidates must be able to start by Monday, July 22. The hours for this position will be 8-5 Monday-Friday.

Job Requirements
  • Scan business cards that are primarily written in English but will include other languages. The Office Assistant will use a business card scanner and check for accuracy, which is often an issue for the non-English business cards. The Office Assistant will transfer the cards to a staff member’s Outlook file. On average, each staff member has 100 unscanned business cards.
  • Convert contacts in a spreadsheet into a new spreadsheet format. On average, each staff member has 2-3 spreadsheets that need to be converted.
  • Convert content from an email from the staff member into a contact in Outlook. This involves accessing the staff member’s Outlook email so they can transfer the cards to their Outlook contacts page.
Other Requirements
  • This position requires strong data administration skills and Microsoft office skills. Each candidate will be required to take an online assessment. The Office Assistant must be comfortable working with a wide group of people. It will be critical to convey confidence, efficiency and accuracy with the staff member’s data.
