A System Specialist has the primary responsibility of providing a friendly, knowledgeable point of initial contact for consumer inquiries for comprehensive system resource information in an efficient and customer-service oriented manner. Fairview On Call is Fairview's vehicle to provide direct human response to all customers, including physicians, internal clinical and non-clinical departments, Fairview patient and their families and the general public.
Assist all customers through many dedicated phone lines including but not restricted to Patient Placement, Clinic Scheduling, and Inpatient Consult lines. Facilitate communication, admission and inpatient consultation aspects for physicians through Fairview University Direct and Patient Placement lines. Run reports, rosters, and statistics for various members of leadership throughout Access Services and Fairview.
One to two years in a busy health care or similar call center environment. Proficiency with multiple computer programs. Strong multi-tasking required. Outstanding attendance history a must. Ability to problem solve, think on your feet and work well independently under pressure without direct supervision.
Health Care background preferred.
