The Icing.com Business Manager is accountable for managing the Icing.com business to achieve/exceed sales and margin plans. S/he will work closely with the brick & mortar team to define the overall financial and planning strategies for Icing.com and partner with the cross-functional teams to execute these plans.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop top down division & department sales, margin & receipt targets
Reconcile sales, margin and inventory plans with the Brick & Mortar Buying and Planning teams to ensure goals are achieved
Identify new opportunities to grow the Icing.com business, develop cogent plans and execute with cross-functional team.
Analyze online sales performance and key metrics, share findings & provide recommendations to the Icing team, understand the key drivers in the brick & mortar business and leverage learnings to drive both online and in store sales.
Responsible for implementing pricing & promotional strategies to drive the online business
Work with Finance team to provide input on P&L and review performance
Define Dept SKU Count goals and develop SKU Roadmap
Provide Icing.com Operations Team with daily order projections and communicate pricing & promotional strategies
Recap and report on sales, promotions, demand metrics, fulfillment, analytics, etc.
Continuously measure online performance to improve the effectiveness of campaign and promotional strategies including best practice benchmarking.
Analyze site traffic, conversion, basket size, average selling price, and other metrics daily to better understand the online customer and drive improvement in KPIs
Actively participate in cross-functional meetings (e.g. Buy Trips, MPPR)
Cultivate & maintain working relationships with other departments and groups with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced
Bachelors degree required
5+ years retail ecommerce experience in a buying, planning or general management capacity
Understanding of online trends, tactics and current events as they relate to e-commerce
Solid business acumen
