Position: Online Deliveries Assistant

Summary

The position is responsible for providing operational support to Online Logistics. Performs a variety of warehouse functions including receiving, verification, stocking, shipping and distribution of materials and books to Full Sail online students. Keeps detailed records of all operational activities for proper accountability and further reporting; communicates effectively with other team members, carriers and management.

Responsibilities

o Pre-pack/Pack PLB for daily shipping

o Request the Mail Center or directly prepare shipping labels.

o Ship laptops, software, books and tech packs out

o Record tracking and serial numbers in Master Log

o Handle inventory of PLB items, report weekly counts.

o Assist with the receipts of PLB items by carriers

o Prepare and maintain packing lists used in the execution of responsibilities

o Shipping and billing reconciliation with the Business Office

o Participate in coordination meetings with the Enrollment Team, FSO Support team, FSO Logistics among others.

o Maintain an orderly and clean work area

Qualifications

1. Education / Training

Associate Degree or high school diploma with equivalent combination of training and experience

2. Experience

Two or more years of experience in logistics and/or coordination jobs (desired).

3. Skills / Abilities

o Applicants should have strong follow up skills and demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate with multiple Full Sail Departments at all levels of the organization, vendors, carrier and students

o Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment.

o Ability to work under pressure, dealing with difficult situations, interruptions, sudden changes in schedule or unexpected rush requests.

o Computer proficiency required; knowledge of Microsoft Office ( especially Excel)

o Good interpersonal and customer service skills

o Accountability for performing and recording tasks with minimum supervision.

o Effective organization.

o Attention to detail.

o Team-oriented.

o Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

o Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

4. Other

Occasional work during weekends is required.
