PopCap Games’ Online Marketing Strategy team provides a full range of support to our game franchises in key disciplines, including acquisition, engagement, and content management. As the Online Marketing Content Manager, you’ll work with franchise marketing partners, creative specialists, and marketing channel leads to create awesome, fun, and consistent messaging for our players. You’ll work closely with PopCap’s head of CRM to build integrated messaging across multiple platforms and channels in support of PopCap’s products. Your success will be driven by your strong editorial voice and your excellent project management skills. Build messaging strategies for customer engagement programs
Lead the creation of fun, consistent messaging for PopCap’s games in key online marketing channels, including email, mobile, and display media
Partner with PopCap’s head of CRM and franchise marketing partners to identify key messages and themes for PopCap’s customers; ensure the timely creation and deployment of assets
Work with a team of artists and copywriters to create program assets
Manage timelines and deployment schedules for key program deliverables
Develop segment-appropriate messages for PopCap products to achieve business objectives
Drive campaign messaging optimization via test-and-learn methods
Required Experience and Background:
3-5 years experience in CRM, email, or similar content management role
Demonstrated experience building end-to-end messaging programs to support customer engagement and retention
Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team including CRM strategists, marketing channel managers, brand marketers, product managers, and creatives
Deep understanding of customer segmentation in a high-volume consumer business
Strong editorial perspective combined with the ability to listen and change as the situation requires
Self-starter with ability to thrive under pressure in a fast paced, rapidly changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment
Exceptional ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and solve complex problems quickly
Excellent communication skills: must be able to work with analysts, product managers, data engineers and marketers alike and have them all think you’re the best thing since Bejeweled
Education and/or Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
