We are looking for an intelligent, enthusiastic and experienced Web Marketing Manager to own a portfolio of content-rich online properties optimized for organic search. The Web Marketing Manager will operate and grow QuinStreet-owned websites including owning responsibility for; optimization, strategic direction, merchandising, A/B testing, content strategy, traffic growth, user engagement and total website performance.

Define, implement and optimize website design, technical performance and content strategy to achieve optimal search rankings, user conversion and business objectives

Thrive in a dynamic, performance-driven environment where agility and innovation are prized

Own the strategic direction for a portfolio of highly competitive websites in the education vertical

Execute tactical initiatives on portfolio of websites based on analysis of site performance, market opportunities and SEO best-practices/industry developments

Drive variety of web production projects leveraging cross-vertical teams of dedicated internal resources: designers, developers, engineers, editors, social media marketers

Optimize conversion across a portfolio of web properties (traffic, conversion, revenue, product quality, user engagement, technical site performance)

Manage all aspects of website operation and growth, from campaign conception through development and execution, to performance evaluation and iteration/improvement cycles

Own competitive analysis for portfolio of online properties— not only identifying high-growth and high-revenue opportunities, but taking the lead on executing them, measuring them and optimizing their performance at your properties

BA/BS required, preferably in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

MBA preferred

Tactical SEO experience, preferably in lead generation or ecommerce environment

Experience with SEO analytics tools a plus: Google Analytics, WebTrends, Majestic SEO, SEOMoz, SEMRush, BrightEdge

3+ years of web production experience preferred

Skill at prioritization, requirements gathering, data-driven decision-making

Curious, creative and interested in pushing online marketing forward

Pressure-tested analytical skills, specifically the ability to translate results into actionable initiatives

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Self-driven, entrepreneur with a high sense of urgency and a detail-oriented work ethic

Ability to generate memes, a plus
