Open Text Application Developer provides lifecycle software development support for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) existing Corporate Document Management System (CDMS). The Open Text Application Developer’s roll is to help design and implement built-in COTS software functions including electronic workflows, SQL reports, PDF forms, and software scripts. The Open Text Application Developer will perform various lifecycle development tasks including requirements gathering and documentation, design development, software coding, testing, training, and production support.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Strong Open Text Livelink software development background with superior knowledge of related tools and techniques.
Livelink Records Management, Identity Management, and Archive Server highly desirable.
Strong communication background related to solution development of COTS applications within Federal Government.
3+ years software development experience with Open Text Livelink v9.7.1 or higher.
3+ years software development in one or more environments including Microsoft .NET and/or JAVA.
Computing Science degree, B.Sc. or M.Sc. or comparable education. Non-computing education may be substituted with documented relevant experience of working in similar role for a production / operations facing IT organization.
Active Secret security clearance.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills. Must have the ability to effectively balance multiple strategic tasks simultaneously and prioritize them to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work independently and in groups.
