Essential Functions:
Performs varied administrative technical and advanced general assistance duties in support of our Risk Management Department's management staff; Responsibilities include the management of the SAP system for the Department to include the creation of purchase orders, the processing of accounts payable, the processing of p-card information, the day to day management of the budget, the entry of payroll information, the production of monthly budget reports with the analysis of variances with recommendations for corrective actions. The management of the CS STARS system to include system administrator duties, implementation, the entry of claims and supporting documentation into the system, the management of claims screens and data tables, the creation of standard and non standard reports, training, and the management of the interface between the system, IT and the Department's vendors; coordinating the entry of data into the SIRE system to include the review and processing of executive summaries and workflow. Assistance in the budgetary preparation process including the preparation of background supportive documents as well as the entry and management of budget information in the Govmax system; the preparation of activity measure and performance reports; provides primary customer service services to associates and vendors to include reception, information, and other services as needed. Operates a personal computer, telephones, copiers and other general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, to include the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other system software.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; with additional coursework in business, accounting, risk management, insurance and secretarial sciences; supplemented by two years of progressively responsible experience performing clerical work.
