The primary
responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to :
Ensures the accuracy
of all shipping documents and gathers and maintains all data and
records relative to shipping activities.
Examines outgoing
shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Maintains inventory of
shipping materials and supplies.
Ensures the accuracy
of all receiving documents and gathers and matches forms (Work
Order, Reception documents, computer printout) relative to receiving
activities.
Assures that receiving
counts match work orders and reception documents and assists in
resolving any discrepancies. Files all receiving paperwork.
Verifies (recounts)
orders received by others to ensure accuracy of incoming
merchandise.
Ensure proper
operation of drying and packaging equipment to meet product quality
standards.
Dry and Pack work
orders according to Plan Schedule.
Assist Plant Manager
in Production Schedule to meet customer demand. And provide
supervision to pelleting staff to meet production schedule.
Print, follow up and
closing of Pelleting and Priming Work Orders.
Responsible for
materials inventory (seed and non-seed items).
Serve as a main
location contact.
Qualifications :
3 - 5 years warehouse
experience
High school diploma,
or equivalent
Heavy lifting required
(up to 70 lbs)
Ability to obtain
pesticide application certificate
Skills required :
Leadership skills.
Possess good math,
verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with
Excel, JD Edwards, SAP preferred
Detailed, self starter
with the ability to work in a team environment.
Must comply with
company safety rules.
