Provide administrative management support to staff/faculty in the department. Manage department events, including conferences, lecture series, talks, roundtables, budget, etc. Supervise clerical and student workers. Serve as administrative initiator in AP Workflow.

Qualifications/Required Education:

Preferred Education:

Required Experience:
2-3 years' experience providing professional support for office operations and unit faculty members; managing budgets and monitoring expenditures; and serving as administrative liaison with other organizational offices at all levels.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in a University setting preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Excellent interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation. Ability to plan and deliver special events and seminars., including budget management. Demonstrated use of business application software, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Flexible office hours surrounding events. Ability to work in a team and independently.
