Your daily responsibilities include:
  • Assist management in the analysis of periodic financial results
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth or expense reduction
  • Collect data, perform data analysis, and develop and distribute reports
  • Assist management in the identification of areas of potential labor inefficiencies
  • Generate various labor reports from data gathered through observations, schedule analysis, and the timekeeping/payroll systems
  • Responsible for identifying, creating and preparing effective labor reports for management or other internal/external parties on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and/or annual basis
  • Will assist management in extracting information from the Kronos timekeeping and Ultipro payroll systems. Will also suggest and/or identify potential areas of improvement in efficiency and/or accuracy of these systems
  • Perform various analyses of company performance, marketing promotions, and operations, including break even analysis, data trending and analysis, costing and cost benefit, promotional analysis, market share implications and incremental revenue analysis
  • Assist in developing reports to perform trend analysis to better understand the business and to identify issues and opportunities at the property
  • Gather information for long and short term planning to assist the company in strategic planning
  • Provide stellar customer service including participation in and promotion of customer service programs to continuously improve customer service
  • Develop business case scenarios and analysis to aid management in decision-making
  • Spotlight key trends and opportunities relative to revenue, cost and labor trends
  • Develop costing and valuation models
  • Protect and preserve assets of the company
  • Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner
  • Any reasonable request made by your supervisor or any management personnel

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of one to three years related experience and/or training including preparing, analyzing and/or auditing detailed financial statements; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state or federal law
